About the speaker
Hi,
I am excited that you are interested in my approach to inclusive diversity, and would like to introduce muself a bit to you.
I'm 45 years old and live with my family in Oslo, Norway. I have a degree in law with a specialization in Human Rights and have 13 years of experience from the public sector.
For the past five years, I have worked on anti-racism, diversity, inclusion, and combating discrimination as a project manager at Kirkens Bymisjon, and “Bli Med i Skeid”, heading the Norwegian Center Against Racism, and now as an advisor at OMOD - Center for Civil Justice.
As most I dreaded public speaking and performance for a long time. Being too self-conscious, my career as vocalist in my friends grunge-band in the early 90’s ended after one
junior-high prome. I have worked on being in the moment and letting go of self-consciousness both in public speaking and coaching kids football. I am still nervous, but as long as I know the subject well I am comfortable speaking to a group of teens or 400 police leaders.
The skills I have gained through my work, I now wish to share more broadly with organizations, agencies, and businesses, and I hope you'll reach out!

Driving Change - training practitioners
The workshops consists of parts of selected lectures, sessions of group-work, coonversations and deliberatioons in plenum. After the workshop there will be developed a report with suggestions for further work. The workshops are based on theory and practical experience on proven methods.

Preparation with Internal Resources
If you wish to make a concerted effort toward a diverse and inclusive organization and can allocate resources for this, a long-term program may be suitable for you. A comprehensive program will be developed using internal resources and academic and practical expertise in the field, tailored to your situation and needs. It will be implemented in collaboration with a consultant to ensure that ownership of the initiatives remains within the organization.

Increasing numbers of leaders find that inclusive diversity is not just a matter of values, but also a question of profitability and productivity. However, one often struggle to be able to prioritize it alongside other tasks. At the same time research shows that efforts toward inclusive diversity yield few results if not prioritized by top management. In this leadership program, we focus on themes related to relevant tasks and processes. The program is aimed at top management but can be adapted for all levels of leadership.
